I am a Registered Nurse with 32 years experience, many of those years  spent working as a Maternal Child Nurse supporting women in labor and in the post-partum period following delivery.

 

When I was on my personal breastfeeding journey, I noticed a lack of support for new mothers in my community.  After reaching out to a Lactation Consultant for support, I knew lactation consulting was my passion and something I needed to pursue. 

I became certified as a Lactation Consultant in 1997 and have spent the last 26 years supporting  and advocating for the breastfeeding mother and baby
