Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a form of manual, holistic healthcare that focuses on treating the whole person rather than addressing symptoms alone. Osteopathy takes a patient-centred, integrative approach, recognizing the important relationship between the body’s structure and function and how this influences overall health.

The primary goal of osteopathic treatment is to identify and address the root cause of dysfunction. Osteopathy aims to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Treatment focuses on identifying and releasing blockages and restoring balance across multiple body systems, including the fascial system, fluid and hormonal systems, pressure and circulation, the craniosacral system, and the autonomic nervous system (including the fight-or-flight response).
An initial osteopathy appointment includes a comprehensive case history and physical assessment to understand your symptoms, health history, and movement patterns. Depending on your individual presentation and clinical findings, treatment may or may not begin during your first visit.
Follow-up osteopathic treatment sessions consist of a reassessment, hands-on osteopathic manual therapy, and exercise rehabilitation and self-care guidance. Home-care recommendations are provided to support ongoing progress, helping your body adapt and integrate changes between appointments.
